KINGSTON UNIVERSITY BRIGHT IDEAS COMPETITION FINALISTS
We were fortunate enough get into the final of the Bright Ideas competition at Kingston University. It allowed us to gain confidence in pitching and presenting to esteemed judges.
We pitched to create a Anstee Bridge sculpture trail where their logo would be put around Kingston. Through this we wanted to raise funds for them to help them find a forever home because they were being evicted from the town hall where they were currently located.
Selected for the A-level Summer Exhibition Online
2018 for the royal Academy of Arts
This piece is inspired by Sarah Lucas ‘Pauline Bunny’. It is about the objectification of women and how men are the puppeteers and women are the puppets. Ironically, I made the sculpture out of spandex because Spandex is used to hold women body’s together to make them look slimmer to attract the male gaze.
